Nicolas Jackson is having his Aston Villa medical, according to reports.
Sky Sports News are among several outlets claiming the Chelsea forward is today completing that important obligation ahead of his transfer to Villa Park.
Villa are understood to have agreed a £65million deal which would quickly break their own transfer record and the £50m they paid Freiburg for Johan Manzambi.
Jackson would become Villa’s seventh signing of the summer and be reunited with Unai Emery having previously worked under the Spaniard at Villarreal.

The move is set against the backdrop and a summer of flux at Villa, with Ollie Watkins looking set to move to the Saudi Pro League and Al Hilal.
Villa are understood to have considered Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta and Bayer Leverkusen’s Christian Kofane. They are also believed to be closing in on AC Milan winger Rafeal Leao.
Jackson arrived at Cheslea from Villarreal in 2023 and signed an eight-year deal for a reported £32m. Since then he has scored 30 goals in 81 games for the Blues but spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich, where he picked up a Bundesliga title and scored 11 in 34.
Villa are also in talks with Ipswich Town over a loan move for Tammy Abraham.
