Pressure piled on Valencia as three clubs join race for Leeds United ace – 49ers will be…

At this stage, Largie Ramazani is the only player remaining whom the 49ers will desperately want to get off Leeds United’s books this summer.

Especially with Lucas Perri closing in on a move to Torino.

But from a Leeds perspective, the Ramazani transfer saga has been a frustrating one. Valencia, who he spent last year on loan at, seem to have an interest in bringing the winger back to Spain.

But for one reason or another, they seem hesitant to meet our demands for the Belgian. Other reports have also suggested that they will only go back in for Ramazani as a last resort if they are unable to sign another winger this summer.

However, the pressure on the La Liga outfit finally looks like it will be ramped up. Reports have emerged suggesting another three clubs have entered the race to finally take Ramazani off our hands.

West Ham among those interested in Largie Ramazani

West Ham have already done us a massive favour this summer by signing Joel Piroe. If the Hammers are promoted, we will receive around £12million for a player who clearly is not capable of cutting it in the Premier League.

But now West Ham could also be set to sign Ramazani too, according to reports from Nacho Sanchis.

Sanchis’ report states that Leeds want to find a permanent buyer for Ramazani this summer. Valencia will only make a move for him if they are able to sell Andre Almeida.

United are said to be demanding around £3.4million for Ramazani, plus a sell-on clause.

Thankfully for Leeds, West Ham, Burnley and a team from Italy are said to be interested in the 25-year-old.

This should finally put some pressure on Valencia to fork out our asking price. If not, there appears to be a queue of clubs who will likely pay the relatively modest fee.

Valencia have been hesitant to put their hand in their pockets all summer. So the 49ers will be relieved that it appears more suitors are emerging for Ramazani in the hope it spurs Valencia into action. The Spanish outfit now have to meet our demands, or risk losing out on one of their long-term transfer targets.

At this stage of the summer, that would be a hammer blow for Valencia.

Sanchis’ report also states that Valencia have wanted Ramazani on loan all summer. However, Leeds won’t budge on their demands, which is encouraging to hear.

Whoever signs Largie Ramazani will be getting a fantastic deal

If it’s true that we’re willing to sell Ramazani for just £3.4million, whoever signs him will be getting an exceptional deal.

Especially if Burnley or West Ham get him. We all know that if he gets the game time, he is capable of ripping up the Championship.

Personally, I think a player of Ramazani’s calibre should be valued significantly higher than £3.4million and for that price, I’m surprised another club hasn’t quickly bitten our hand off to sign him.

Daniel Farke has made it abundantly clear that there’s no way back for the Belgian at Leeds. So a permanent move away would be the best-case scenario for all parties.

Hopefully, one ends up materialising. This looks as if it will happen now given the number of clubs sniffing around our out-of-favour winger.
