Bradley Barcola is making a £120m move to Liverpool after an agreement was struck between the Reds and Paris Saint-Germain

Bradley Barcola's decision to join Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain has been questioned by former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna.
France international winger Barcola, 23, has been a top target for the Reds all summer, and on Thursday the framework of an agreement was struck which will take him to Anfield in a deal worth up to £120m.
Reds boss Andoni Iraola remained tight-lipped on Barcola at his press conference on Thursday, stating only that he was hopeful a deal could be done.
"As you know now, we are trying to sign in that position," he said. "And also, as you know, we cannot talk about players that are not ours.
"But it is evident that we are trying to improve and trying to fill that position because we don't have the numbers. I hope we can have good news soon but we are still not there."
Barcola had been linked with a move to Arsenal, with the Gunners known to be keen on adding to their attacking ranks as Brazil international Gabriel Martinelli closes in on a move to Saudi side Al-Hilal.
The reigning Premier League champions have been linked with Argentina forward Julian Alvarez and were briefly said to be closing in on a deal for Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior earlier in the summer.
Having missed out on Barcola though, ex-Gunners defender Sagna feels his fellow Frenchman may not be making a wise choice by moving to Anfield.
"Well Liverpool didn't have the best season last year, for different reasons of course," Sagna told The Action Network.
"For him, to join the team now, I don't think it would be a good career choice, especially after winning so much with Paris.
"Liverpool is one of the most important and respected English clubs. To play for them is something special. But the team seems to be a bit sick and recovering from the last season they had.
"They will get back to their best but I'm not sure a move right now is the best one for Barcola."
