Business and tourism leaders across Coventry and Warwickshire rallied behind Frank Lampard's Sky Blues as the club prepares for their first Premier League campaign in over 25 years.
Coventry City faced Arsenal in their opening fixture, marking a landmark moment for the club and the wider region.
Corin Crane, chief executive of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said: "It's such a landmark moment for the football club, the city and the whole region, and one that everyone should enjoy."
The economic benefits are expected to be substantial, with increased footfall in local bars and restaurants, plus higher hotel bookings from visiting supporters.
Local universities could also benefit from the Sky Blues' return to the top flight. Chambers across the country have reported rises in student applications due to increased city recognition from Premier League exposure.
The Premier League's global reach of over two billion viewers means Coventry will be on the world stage alongside just 12 other towns and cities.
Paul McMahon from Destination Coventry confirmed they're already seeing benefits, with national journalists highlighting the city's visitor attractions and the club promoting the Motor City brand in transfer communications.
