There are just days left in the summer transfer window, and Liverpool is expected to be amongst the busiest clubs in the Premier League before the market comes to a close.

The Reds have been busy in recent days, trying to bring in players on the wing for Andoni Iraola, following his previous plea for new options in the forward ranks.

There must be a balance within the playing roster; however, with some stars being linked with a potential exit to help streamline the side for the new head coach this season.

So, with that said, here's a look at the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumors ahead of another busy day of action.

Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace)

Liverpool's pursuit of Ismaila Sarr doesn't appear to be over just yet, as the Independent claims that the Reds remain interested in getting a deal for the Crystal Palace winger over the line.

The 28-year-old was reportedly the subject of a £50 million ($68 million) bid from the Merseyside outfit, which was seemingly rebuffed by the Eagles.

However, despite that recent rejection, the report claims that Liverpool is still pursuing the star, with the hope that he could strengthen the wide areas in the final few days of the transfer window.

Liverpool.com says: A move for Sarr at this stage makes sense for Liverpool, considering the lack of options available to the side on the right flank.

There are naturally concerns over the final fee, which could end up being a key point of contention between the two teams at this stage of possible negotiations.

While there will be questions over how the pursuit of a right-winger has taken this long, and with so many options touted, Sarr may offer the immediate quality and Premier League experience that is required.

Iliman Ndiaye (Everton)

Liverpool has been linked with a move for Everton and Senegal star Iliman Ndiaye this summer as a surprise option to bolster the forward ranks.

However, The Athletic reports that Manchester City is keen on a move for the 26-year-old, which could see Jack Grealish move in the opposite direction.

The Toffees had Grealish on loan last season, before injury halted the end of his campaign, with David Moyes now keen on bringing the 30-year-old to Merseyside once again.

Liverpool.com says: The possibility of Ndiaye switching Everton for Liverpool always seemed unlikely, and not just because of the links with the rivalry between the two clubs.

The Toffees are likely to demand a huge fee for the forward, considering that he is a key player, one that could only be reduced with a player like Grealish moving in the other direction.

It comes as a possible blow, but one that Liverpool shouldn't be too concerned by, considering how unlikely a deal always seemed.
