The August Bank Holiday is almost upon us. This weekend will see a whole host of gigs, shows and events across the region including Manchester Village Pride, Manchester United at home, and of course, Live From Wythenshawe Park.
Last weekend, the two-part concert series kicked off in style as The Cure and Lewis Capaldi performed to over 70,000 fans. And this weekend will see three gigs from Pulp, Courteeners and The Prodigy, with hundreds of thousands expected to descend on the South Manchester park.
The Wythenshawe Park gigs began in 2023 as Noel Gallagher christened the venue, before Blossoms and New Order headed up the billing in 2024. Its grown ever since, with capacity increased by 10,000 last year as both Fontaines D.C. and Sam Fender wowed their fans.

For Pulp’s show on Friday night (August 28), they will be supported by Saddleworth singer-songwriter Seb Lowe, and Sheffield favourite Self Esteem. Doors will open at 4pm, with Pulp taking to the stage at around 8:55pm.
