**[Everton](https://ReadEverton.com) are reportedly interested in Stuttgart midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, with the German club prepared to consider offers before the transfer deadline.**
Sky Germany reports that the Toffees are among the clubs looking at the Morocco international.
Newcastle United are also interested, while two Saudi Pro League clubs are said to be monitoring his situation.
Stuttgart would consider selling for between €50m and €60m (£43m-£52m), with El Khannouss open to a move.
There is no suggestion at this stage that Everton have made an offer.
The 22-year-old already knows English football following his spell with Leicester City.
El Khannouss joined Stuttgart last summer and can play as a No.10 or in a deeper midfield role.
That versatility is likely to appeal to Everton as David Moyes looks for more additions before the window closes.
Moyes admitted after Wednesday’s Carabao Cup victory at Preston that he still wants “more players” and “more quality”, although he stopped short of saying how many deals Everton might complete.
El Khannouss would not come cheaply.
Stuttgart’s reported €50m-€60m valuation could mean a fee of as much as £52m, while Newcastle and Saudi interest gives the Bundesliga club little reason to lower its demands.
For now, Everton’s involvement is limited to reported interest. There have been no reports of talks between the clubs or a formal proposal.
But with only a few days of the window remaining, El Khannouss is one of the names now being considered as Everton look to add to Moyes’ squad.
