**Oliver Glasner** explained how he hopes to take **Nottingham Forest** up the **Premier League** table.

But the battle to blend their commitments in the **Europa League** with sustained success in the domestic division became too much to bear.

Espirito Santo, **Ange Postecoglou**, **Sean Dyche** and **Vitor Pereira** were all put through their paces in the last twelve months as the outfit only clicked in April, pulling five points clear of the bottom three.
Glasner has experience of a similar struggle from his last season with **Crystal Palace**, whose 15th placed finish might have been better if they were not all in on winning the **Conference League**. He turned a perennial mid-table club into an aspirational achiever, and he aims to do the same at Forest.
After successive defeats to **Leeds United** on opening matchday of the **Premier League** and the **Carabao Cup** second round, the Austrian is attempting to stir up his squad for their trip to **Anfield** to play against **Liverpool**.
