Toko Koga has been named in the PFA Women’s Super League Team of the Year for the 2025/26 season after an impressive maiden campaign at Spurs.
The Japan international, who joined us from Feyenoord last summer, had already scooped up our Adults Player of the Season award last term and was named in the competition’s Team of the Season.
The PFA XI, voted for by the players across the WSL, recognises the top flight’s outstanding performers and Toko’s strong displays earned her place in the team.
Making the move to England as a teenager, the now 20-year-old defender made a total of 19 appearances across her first full season in the WSL and back in November, she set a new record for the Club in the competition as she became our youngest-ever goalscorer with a goal in our 2-1 win over Liverpool at Brisbane Road.
Toko missed just three matches in the WSL and two of those came in March, 2026, when she helped her nation to the Women’s Asian Cup glory by featuring in all five games across the tournament.
Our number 32 follows former Spur Grace Clinton in being named in a PFA Team of the Year after was also recognised after her fine season in N17 back in 2023/24 when on loan from Manchester United, where she also won the PFA Young Player of the Year for that campaign.
