Ipswich Town Women have signed full-back Jorja Fox from WSL side Chelsea on a one-year deal.
The 22-year-old has spent 15 years with the West Londoners, coming through their academy to make her senior debut in the 2020/21 season.
While with Chelsea, the former England U17, U19 and U23 cap had spells on loan with Charlton, Brighton, Crystal Palace and last season with Newcastle.
“I’m really excited to be here. The girls, staff and facilities all seem great and I can’t wait to get started,” Fox said.
“The experiences I’ve had in the WSL and Champions League during my career so far have been so valuable and hopefully I can go on to achieve some great things here too.
“I think it’s going to be a competitive season, but I’m raring to go and really looking forward to seeing what we can do together.”
Town Women’s technical director Sean Burt added: “We’re delighted to welcome Jorja to the club.
“Her experience in WSL and within elite-level environments is something we feel will be invaluable to the group.
“Jorja’s versatility and ability to play across a number of positions will be a real asset, and we’re excited to see her get started now everything is finalised.”
Town Women, who have now made 13 summer additions, get their season under way when they host Nottingham Forest on Sunday 6th September.
Elsewhere, released midfielder Ruby Doe has joined FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division side Hashtag United.
