**Get French Football News** understands that Leeds United will look to sign Michael Zetterer as their No.2. As reported exclusively by **GFFN** yesterday, the Premier League side were weighing up whether to sign an experienced goalkeeper for the back-up role or a prospect. They have ultimately opted for the former.
In the event of going for a younger goalkeeper, Leeds United had earmarked Standard Liege’s Matthieu Epolo. The DR Congo international had also received interest from Ligue 1 clubs Olympique de Marseille and Toulouse FC. For different reasons, it is currently unlikely that Epolo will join either. As a result, he looks set to remain with the Belgian club. A January exit, however, cannot be ruled out, and OM remain interested, even if they are not in a position to lodge a bid this summer.
Leeds made the definitive decision to advance a deal for Zetterer (31) on Friday. Talks with Eintracht Frankfurt are now advanced.
