Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki were in inspirational form at Selhurst Park as Enzo Maresca’s men turned on the style to make it two wins from two Premier League games.
Haaland headed City in front in the first half with a looping header from an impressive Antoine Semenyo cross.
Cherki doubled the lead early in the second period with a clever finish following a powerful run into the box.
Palace pulled one back with an outstanding Yeremy Pino free-kick which went down as a Gianluigi Donnarumma own-goal.
But Cherki and Haaland added a couple more before the end to help send the travelling faithful home happy after a fantastic evening in the capital.
