Two wins from their opening two Premier League games has pumped some optimism into Manchester City as they chart new waters under Enzo Maresca. The Palace win was enjoyed by the thousands of supporters who made the journey to South London on Friday night and were rewarded with four goals and an entertaining performance.
Ayyoub Bouaddi came on in the final minutes to make his City debut but there is more work to be done in the final days of the transfer window as sporting director Hugo Viana looks to give Maresca the backing he needs to challenge on all fronts this season. Time is running out for City to do all the business they need to, even as they remain confident of their biggest deal of the window in Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez.
