Leeds United have continued to prioritise quality over quantity this summer when it comes to adding to Daniel Farke's squad, with Michael Zetterer becoming the fifth player to make the move to Elland Road.
The German goalkeeper has joined the Whites from Eintracht Frankfurt and becomes Leeds' latest addition, following James Trafford, Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi through the door.

Zetterer is expected to provide experienced competition and cover for Trafford following a major overhaul of the goalkeeping department, with Illan Meslier and Karl Darlow both leaving the club and Lucas Perri sealing a move to Torino.
However, Leeds' work in the transfer market may not be finished yet, with the Yorkshire side still being linked with another potentially shrewd addition.

According to MOT Leeds News, Leeds are among the clubs interested in Hajduk Split midfielder Niko Sigur, who appears increasingly likely to leave the Croatian side before the transfer window closes.
The 22-year-old Canada international has emerged as an option for Farke as Leeds look to strengthen their midfield depth, although they are facing competition from Celtic, Coventry City, Toulouse and Valencia.

Hajduk manager Gonzalo Garcia admitted that Sigur was emotional in the dressing room following their recent European fixture, explaining that the 22-year-old is "probably leaving".
A fee in the region of £4.2m could be enough to secure Sigur's signature, which could represent excellent value given his age and versatility.
Former Leeds boss Jesse Marsch currently manages Sigur at international level with Canada and has already made his admiration for the midfielder clear.

After Sigur impressed for Canada at the 2026 World Cup, Marsch described his performance as "outstanding", highlighting the midfielder's work rate, ability in possession, ball-winning and effectiveness in duels.
Perhaps more importantly, though, the Canadian's versatility could solve more than one problem for Farke. Primarily a defensive midfielder, he has actually featured more at right-back, meaning he could provide Farke with valuable cover in two areas of the squad.
Sigur could provide competition in the middle of the pitch while also giving Leeds another option behind Jayden Bogle on the right.
Bogle remains an important option on the right flank, but having a player capable of stepping into that role without Leeds needing to significantly alter their shape could prove invaluable.
James Justin can also operate on the right, but he has been used on the opposite flank, meaning Sigur's arrival could allow Farke to keep Justin available as cover for Gabriel Gudmundsson while the Canadian deputises for Bogle.
Supporters will be wanting attacking reinforcements before the deadline, so if they can land a marquee attacker and then Sigur, it could represent a solid end to the window.
