Emi Martinez has left Aston Villa after six years at the club to join Premier League rivals Chelsea for £7.5 million.
The 33-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the Stamford Bridge club, bringing an end to the speculation surrounding his future throughout the summer.
Martinez joined Villa from Arsenal in 2020 and has made 256 appearances in all competitions, registering 80 clean sheets.
The Argentina international, who lifted the World Cup in 2022 and reached the final again this year, won the Europa League with Villa last term.
He also won the best FIFA goalkeeper in 2022 and 2024 respectively, as well as two Copa Americas with Argentina.
