Manchester United have confirmed the departure of young midfielder Toby Collyer.
Collyer joins West Bromwich Albion on a permanent deal worth a guaranteed £3 million, plus add-ons.
The majority of the add-ons are said to be achievable and could take the total package up to £7.6m.
United also retained a 40 per cent sell-on clause and have included a buy-back option.
Hull City and Middlesbrough were also interested in signing the talented midfielder but he chose to move to The Hawthorns.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion prospect moved to Carrington four years ago.
He thrived with the youth teams and ultimately earned the opportunity to make his senior debut under former manager Erik ten Hag.
He played 13 times for the United first team, including in the 2024 FA Community Shield.
Collyer was a solid squad option for United but the club decided to send him on loan last campaign after failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of the campaign at West Brom and made 12 appearances.
He played for only 253 minutes as multiple injuries curtailed his game time.
Collyer was recalled from his loan in January and sent to Hull City for the remainder of the campaign.
The story was much the same for the young midfielder, as he featured only five times due to fitness concerns.
He will now look to revive his career and show why he was once considered ahead of Casemiro in the pecking order at United.
