**Alvaro Arbeloa** addressed another defeat for [Fulham](https://www.vavel.com/en/data/fulham/) from their first away day of the new campaign.
The Spaniard saw his side end up on the wrong side of the West London derby as they lost **3-2** against **Chelsea** on Monday at **Craven Cottage**. They hoped to atone for that result against **Sunderland**, whom **Ipswich Town** beat 2-1 last weekend, but the players could not produce the goods on Sunday.

**Wilson Isidor** buried a cross from **Habib Diarra** in the second half, having hit the post from a similar situation a few minutes earlier as **Enzo La Fee** provided the service from the other side of the field.
Disappointed with the display, Arbeloa seemed to suggest his squad need to sustain their standards game to game — especially as Fulham have a **poor away record** to address this season. Only **Leeds United** picked up fewer points on the road last term from the teams that survived in the topflight.
