Bradley Barcola will become a Liverpool player on Monday when he completes his £123m move from Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international will sign a five-year deal at Anfield after the Reds made a breakthrough in summer-long negotiations with PSG in the early hours of Thursday.
Barcola could take the No.29 shirt given his career-long preference but with Mohamed Salah now at Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor, the No.11 is also available.

The 23-year-old, who underwent a medical on Sunday, will become the second most expensive footballer of all time at Liverpool behind only Alexander Isak, who cost £125m on September 1 last year.
It promises to be a busy couple of days of ins and outs as sporting director Richard Hughes and the club's recruitment department round off an eventful, and at times turbulent period of player trading.
The main source of contention centres around Cody Gakpo, who is the subject of interest from Manchester City.
Liverpool are in talks with their now long-time rivals over a possible deal for the Netherlands international, who is valued at around £85m.
Gakpo had been wanted by Tottenham Hotspur, who have since shifted their focus to Everton's Iliman Ndiaye, but the 27-year-old indicated that it was City who were his preferred destination on Saturday, which kick-started the negotiations between the clubs.
The Reds, as the ECHO reported on Sunday, are unlikely to sanction the Dutchman's departure without having a replacement lined up. But as of Monday morning, the identity of that particular player remains unclear.
The Reds saw two bids rejected for Yankuba Minteh earlier this month and while it is thought the club have turned their attention elsewhere, a deal could still be resurrected if the Brighton & Hove Albion lower their asking price from £80m.
Sources close to the player on Sunday claimed talks were set to resume between the two clubs in an effort to reach a late accord in the window. Minteh is said to have his heart set on a move to Merseyside.
“My dream club for me is any team that comes," the Gambia international said earlier this month. "As long as it’s a big club, I will go there because everyone wants to play in a big club.
"But I think the club which suits me really well, I would say Liverpool.”
Ismaila Sarr, of Crystal Palace, is another who the Reds have made checks on although reports of a £50m bid being rejected have been dismissed. Liverpool identified Sarr as a target in 2020 when he was a Watford player alongside Canada international Jonathan David before Diogo Jota was brought in from Wolves.
Real Madrid's Endrick was also the subject of a check earlier this summer but the Spanish giants were reluctant to lose the Brazil attacker.
The Reds were also involved in exploratory talks with PSG for Senegal international Ibrahim Mbaye and earlier this window assessed Maghnes Akilouche at Monaco, prior to his own move to the French capital.
It's all pointing towards a frantic couple of days as Liverpool look to finally secure the incumbent on their right wing, months after Salah walked away after his contract was effectively torn up.
Reports in Germany have claimed the Reds are one of several clubs taking a closer look at Stuttgart midfielder Jamie Leweling, who is also wanted by Roma.
Moncao's Lamine Camara, another midfielder, has been tentatively linked with a move to Anfield in recent days too.
Harvey Elliott is the subject of interest from Valencia and with the midfielder being left out of the two games so far under new coach Andoni Iraola, his future will almost certainly be away from Merseyside at this stage. Stefan Bajcetic is also wanted by Celta Vigo and Liverpool are braced for interest in both players to ramp up before deadline day.
Federico Chiesa might yet be the subject of approaches from Serie A but with Hugo Ekitike out until at least the end of the calendar year, the the forward might yet be kept around for back up to Isak.
Speaking on the club's pre-season tour of the United States last month, Chiesa, who is currently sidelined with a back issue, professed his love of the club and insisted he wanted to make the grade under Iraola.
"Right now, at the moment, I am happy here at Liverpool," he said in Nashville. "I love the club, I love the fans, I love everything.
"I am doing the best I can to have a chance here - and then we will see. At the minute, the only thing I am thinking about is Liverpool."
On the goalkeeping front, the Reds are monitoring the situation of Genk goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans as Nottingham Forest weigh up a move for Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Brughmans, who only turned 18 in June, has developed a reputation as one of the emerging shot-stoppers in Europe and is being courted by a host of clubs across the continent, including Liverpool.
It's understood the club's Global Talent department, headed up by Matt Newberry, has identified the teenager as a potential star.
Interest from Real Madrid, among others, complicates matters and the Reds are not looking to make a move before Tuesday night's 11pm transfer deadline.
That might change depending on Mamardashvili's situation, however, with the Georgia international said to be attracting interest from Nottingham Forest.
