Kenan Yildiz has completed surgery on his fractured leg, and the attacker will be sidelined for up to three months, Football Italia confirms.
Yildiz suffered the fracture in the first league game of the season as the Bianconeri looked to make a strong start to their campaign. They won the match, but the victory came at a significant cost with one of their most important players now facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Yildiz has established himself as one of Juventus’ most important players, which explains why he wears the number 10 shirt and is considered unavailable for transfer by the Bianconeri.
He is regarded as one of the best players in Italian football at the moment, and Juve certainly do not want to lose his services. However, they have no choice but to cope without him, with the report stating that he will be out of action until the latter part of this year.
Juventus face Yildiz absence
Juve have never seriously considered signing a direct replacement for Yildiz, but they currently have players who can step up and take responsibility on the left wing.
The Bianconeri will now focus on ensuring the attacker makes a full recovery and returns in the best possible condition. Yildiz will also be eager to recover quickly so he can get back on the pitch and help the club pursue success this season.
His absence will nevertheless leave Juventus without one of their most influential attacking players for a significant period. The club will have to rely on the other options available to them while he continues his rehabilitation.

Yildiz targets return
When fit, Yildiz is expected to remain one of the first names on the Juventus team sheet. His importance to the Bianconeri means they will be careful with his recovery rather than rushing him back before he is ready.
The attacker will now concentrate on regaining full fitness, while his teammates attempt to keep Juventus competitive across all the competitions they will enter this season.
Juve will hope their squad has enough quality to cope with his absence until his return. Once Yildiz is fit again, they will be delighted to have their number 10 back and ready to contribute to their pursuit of trophies.
