Donyell Malen has been unstoppable since he moved to AS Roma, and this season alone, he has scored five goals in just two league games, leaving other teams wishing they had signed him.
The Dutchman is the most in-form attacker in Italian football, and because Roma play in a way that suits him, he could continue to score. His start to the campaign has made a significant impression and shows how effective he can be when given the right conditions.
Juventus want similar impact
That is the type of impact Juve wish one of their players could make on the pitch, with several members of their squad capable of performing better than they are right now. The Bianconeri have not been satisfied with the level of their performances and will want their players to produce more.
It frustrates the club that they have not managed to perform better, but Juve hope Nick Woltemade can make a strong impact and help them become champions again. The German has arrived with expectations, and Juventus will be hoping he can provide the quality they need in attack.
Michelangelo Rampulla is happy that Juventus have added the German to their squad, even though he has not watched many of his matches before the move. He believes Woltemade could make a similar impact to the one Malen is currently making at Roma.

Rampulla backs Woltemade
Rampulla believes the pitch will ultimately determine whether Woltemade can improve on what he produced last season. He also acknowledged that injuries to Yildiz and Thuram are weighing heavily on Juventus, while stressing the importance of their defence.
He said via Tuttomercatoweb:
“When Roma signed Malen, we didn’t know what he was capable of. Then we saw. I don’t know Woltemade, but hopefully he can be like Malen. The pitch will tell whether he’s stronger or weaker than last year, but he seems stronger. Of course, the injuries to Yildiz and Thuram are weighing heavily, but we’ll see. We have to start with the defense, which is stronger.”
Woltemade now has the opportunity to prove himself in Turin. Juventus will hope he can adapt quickly, deliver the goals they need and help the Bianconeri challenge for the title.
