Instant reaction Juventua 1-1 Milan
AC Milan came away with a point from their trip to Turin, conceding a late equaliser against Juventus. However, while frustrating, it was perhaps a fair result.
There was a lot of optimism in the Milan camp after the wins in the opening two games, combined with a good week of training at Milanello. There was even more excitement when the starting eleven was announced, as Ruben Amorim opted to start the new signing Diego Moreira.

Sadly, Moreira didn’t exactly impress and the same can be said for many of the Milan players. As a team, they struggled to create chances in the final third and also showcased some sloppy defending, leading to at least a few good half-chances for Juventus.
As such, Alphadjo Cisse’s opener was sort of against the run of play, and it looked like it would be enough. With just a few minutes to go, though, Federico Gatti scored the equaliser and thus made sure Milan only got one point.
