After being chased by former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the club secured the high-profile signing of Jadon Sancho in 2021 for £73 million, but unfortunately for the winger, he never replicated his form in Germany in the Premier League.
As a result, Sancho was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund in the 2023/24 season, before joining Chelsea on a loan with a £25 million obligation to buy in the 2024/25 season, but instead they opted to pay a £5 million penalty fee to send the winger back to Old Trafford.
Last season, Sancho made 39 appearances for Aston Villa, scoring one goal and providing three assists in all competitions, as Unai Emery's side lifted the Europa League.
Unfortunately for the Englishman, United chose not to renew Sancho's contract at the club, as the 26-year-old left Old Trafford as a free agent this summer, with Sancho facing a major decision as he tries to get his career back on track.
Sancho attracting Premier League interest
Although the summer transfer window has already closed, Sancho's status as a free agent means he can move outside the transfer window, giving him more time to weigh up a major decision about his next move.
As reported by TEAMtalk, the winger is in talks with at least two Premier League clubs about a potential move, with fresh approaches made to the former United winger in the past week.
The interest isn't limited to the Premier League, however, with clubs in Turkey, the Saudi Pro League, and the UAE reportedly keen to explore a deal for the free agent.
The outlet also reports that Borussia Dortmund are looking to bring Sancho back to the Signal Iduna Park for the third time. Despite signing Ethan Nwaneri on loan from Arsenal, the side also lost Giannis Konstantelias, a left-winger signed in the summer, through injury and is set to miss most of the season.
