Chivu Juventus Milan
In recent years, Juventus vs. AC Milan hasn’t been a game of quality and Sunday night’s game didn’t differ from that suggestion.
It says a lot when most remember this fixture for 0-0 scorelines, rather than exciting performances. That’s because it’s become the norm in recent years and whilst Sunday’s game strayed from the scoreline, it didn’t stray from the idea.

Chivu proven right
As Gazzetta dello Sport wrote, Cristian Chivu was proven right this week, with Juventus-Milan lacking any real quality. Of course, there were moments, but it wasn’t anything near to the games of the past.
For the Diavolo, it was quite an experimental game that was more in the style of Massimiliano Allegri than Ruben Amorim. It was a slow performance – unlike their first two games of the season – with several players looking poor on the ball.

Adrien Rabiot, Alexis Saelemaekers and Diego Moreira left a lot to be desired in their first starts of the season. So, Amorim must decide when, how and where he wants to utilise these players.
On a brighter side, Goncalo Ramos’ performance was positive, even if there were no goals. The return of Christian Pulisic will help him and the team. Perhaps his first minutes will finally come against Lazio. It may be harsh judging the side just now, there are clearly things that need to be implemented still.
