The 2026-27 Premier League season is now in full swing, and opinions are already being formed on certain players. Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens has been a big talking point in the opening few weeks.
The Belgian appears to be suffering from a crisis of confidence after his blunder saw his country eliminated from the 2026 World Cup. Lammens has conceded two goals in each of Man Utd's three league matches, and has been criticised for his part in some.
But where does he rank among every other Premier League club's goalkeeper this season? Well, to answer that question, GIVEMESPORT have ranked each team's first-choice goalkeeper based on the goals prevented statistic.

James Trafford left Manchester City looking for first-team football in the summer, and has proven to be worth the hefty price tag for Leeds United so far. The Lilywhites have conceded twice in three games, but it could've been worse without the England star between the sticks.
9. Zion Suzuki (Aston Villa)

Zion Suzuki has been handed the daunting task of replacing Emiliano Martinez at Aston Villa after an impressive World Cup for Japan. The young shot-stopper wasn't involved in the 4-0 opening-day defeat against Brighton. That means he has only conceded one goal so far, a close-range Bukayo Saka strike for Arsenal.
8. Kjell Scherpen (Ipswich Town)

It could shock some to see Ipswich Town's first-choice, Kjell Scherpen, in the top 10 after the Dutchman shipped five goals at Old Trafford, then failed to cover himself in glory as Liverpool's Alexander Isak scored twice past him. But the 26-year-old has stopped the Tractor Boys from conceding more than eight so far.
7. Emiliano Martinez (Chelsea)

Chelsea's glaring issue heading into the new season under Xabi Alonso was the goalkeeper situation. Robert Sanchez had a couple of howlers in the first game against Fulham, prompting the Spanish coach to sign a new 'keeper. Emiliano Martinez will be disappointed with a couple of the goals he's conceded so far, but the Argentine is still among the best in the league.

6. Caoimhin Kelleher (Brentford)

Liverpool could've had the perfect replacement for Alisson Becker had Caoimhin Kelleher been willing to stick around at Anfield. The Irishman has been an unbelievable replacement for David Raya at Brentford. Kelleher continues to impress for the Bees, preventing 0.7 goals his side should've conceded, according to the data.
5. Jordan Pickford (Everton)

Jordan Pickford, England's No.1, has consistently been a top performer for Everton over the years. The 32-year-old hasn't been able to do much about the three goals David Moyes' side have conceded so far. He's also prevented 0.8 goals.

4. Djordje Petrovic (Bournemouth)

Unwanted at Chelsea two years ago, Djordje Petrovic has become a reliable pair of hands between the sticks for Bournemouth. He's among the best shot-stoppers in the division this term, even after conceding five in three matches.
3. Konstantinos Tzolakis (Hull City)

Hull City, the favourites to finish rock-bottom in many people's eyes before a ball was kicked, are the only club yet to concede a Premier League goal. The opening-day win over Man United was a glimpse into how vital Konstantino Tzolakis could be for the Tigers. His imposing frame and calmness in goal are key qualities behind his two goals-prevented stat.
2. Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City)

He may have come within an inch of dribbling across his own goal line in Man City's win over Coventry, but Italian giant Gianluigi Donnarumma is an unbelievable shot-stopper. The ex-PSG star is only beaten by one man in terms of goals prevented.
1. Lukas Hornicek (Newcastle United)

Newcastle United looked like a team that could struggle with several key players moving on and an overhaul of the first-team. However, Lukas Hornicek has proven to be one of the best signings of the summer so far. He'll be disappointed to have conceded four goals in two matches at St James' Park, but Hornicek kept a clean sheet on the road at Tottenham.
