Manchester United have reached an agreement with Liverpool to sign 16-year-old Isaac Konde, with the midfielder now set to make the move from Anfield to Old Trafford.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the deal, with the formal steps completed over the last 24 hours. Issac Konde is now preparing for the next stage of his development with Manchester United after coming through Liverpool’s academy.

Issac Konde makes move across the north west
Issac Konde has been used mainly on the left side of attack, although he is also comfortable operating from the opposite flank. He has already made six appearances for Liverpool’s Under-18 side this season and has provided one assist.
His move is the latest step in United’s efforts to strengthen their youth setup. The club have also seen several young players leave in recent weeks, including Habeeb Ogunneye and James Scanlon, who both joined Arsenal permanently during the summer.
United have shown that they can also attract highly rated young players from rival academies. Ayden Heaven made the move from Arsenal and is now part of the first-team picture, while Chido Obi joined United at 16 after turning down an offer to extend his Arsenal stay.
Konde now becomes the latest teenager to make the switch between two of English football’s biggest academies.
His immediate focus will be on continuing his development within United’s youth system. The long-term hope, as with other young arrivals, will be to eventually push towards the senior side.
