Manchester United have announced a new sponsorship deal which is part of a bigger picture at Old Trafford.
It has been a busy summer on the transfer front for Manchester United, but the club has also been working hard to strike deals off the pitch too.
On Tuesday, United confirmed a new partnership with SumUp as the club’s new sleeve sponsor.
According to the Daily Mail, it is the biggest sleeve sponsorship deal in the club’s history, meaning it must be worth more than the £20m per season deal previously struck with DXC Technology. The deal is set to run for multiple years.

Man United’s new sleeve sponsors add to Project 90
Earlier this summer, United announced a £20m per season Betway deal as the club’s training kit sponsors.
These two new major sponsorship deals will bring in over £40m each year for United, which will provide a healthy injection to the club’s overall commercial revenue.
Inside Old Trafford, Ineos have launched Project 90 since Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s takeover of the club.
Project 90 is designed to improve United’s revenue generation by £90m per season, hoping to break £800m in revenue by 2028.
United’s revenue is set to boom in 2026/27 thanks to a return to the Champions League, improved matchday revenue and now improved commercial revenue.
By the last accounts released, United’s 2025/26 revenue is projected to be £665m despite it being a campaign with no European football.

Man United’s commercial revenue explored
In 2025, United’s commercial revenue came in at £333 million, one of the leading figures in the Premier League.
That was despite United facing a hit on their Adidas sponsorship deal as a result of not qualifying for the Champions League.

Since then, United have returned to the Champions League, meaning the club will receive the full £90m from Adidas, and have added sponsors such as Betway and SumUp to the partners portfolio.
United’s £300m Snapdragon deal is going strong and is valid until 2029, and that will make up a significant slice of the commercial revenue in 2026/27.
