Manchester United youngster Finley McAllister has departed for Radcliffe Borough on loan.
The 20-year-old has moved to the National League North side on an initial month-long deal and went straight into Borough's squad for their league game at Hebburn United on Tuesday night, when he was named among the subs.
McAllister captained United's Under-18s to three trophies in the 2023-24 campaign and also represented England Under-17s in that season's World Cup. He has since gone on to become a regular for United's Under-21 side and makes a loan exit from Old Trafford for the first time as he seeks exposure to first team football.
The Salford-born midfielder is the latest academy prospect to leave in the past week. Chido Obi has moved to Dutch side Willem II on loan while Gabriele Biancheri has left permanently to join Wacker Innsbruck.
Louie Bradbury left United to join Stoke and, within 24 hours of moving to the Potters, hit a debut hat-trick for his new club in a remarkable 8-5 defeat to Manchester City. Bradbury signed a two-year deal after penning a professional contract, with a club option for a third year.
