Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick after Ousmane Dembele’s early brace as Paris St Germain started the defence of their Champions League crown with a 6-1 rout of Slovan Bratislava.
After spurning an early chance, Dembele struck in the 17th and 23rd minutes to give the holders a comfortable early advantage, and the France forward then set up the first and third of Torres’s strikes as the summer signing from Barcelona scored his first Champions League hat-trick.
Suleiman Camara provided a brief highlight for the visitors on a bruising night, cutting in from the left to lash home a powerful strike from a tight angle, but Fabian Ruiz had the final word for PSG.

Gabriel Jesus scored his first goal in Barcelona colours to cap a 5-1 win over Feyenoord after Raphinha continued his superb start to the season with a brace.
Raphinha made it eight goals in five games to start the campaign as he scored a brace, coming either side of Karim Adeyemi’s curled strike.
Lamine Yamal’s 77th minute free-kick stretched the lead but Sem Steijn pulled one back for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side before Jesus headed in five minutes from time.
