Jadon Sancho remains a free agent following the expiration of his contract at Manchester United. The Manchester City academy product joined United in the summer of 2021, but he was never able to live up to the £73million price tag.
A series of loans followed in the final years of his United contract, with short-term spells at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa bookmarking his spell with the Red Devils. But after his contract expired in the summer, Sancho has been left without a club.
However, talks are said to be taking place between Sancho, his representatives, and two separate Premier League clubs. That’s according to TEAMtalk, who report talks have intensified in the days following the transfer window slamming shut.
It isn’t known at this stage who the Premier League clubs in question are, but it is understood that Sancho has been offered several escape routes from England’s top flight. One of those is believed to be in the UAE second division, with Arabian Falcons in particular taking an interest.

The Dubai-based outfit are managed by former Premier League ace Jonjo Shelvey, who claimed he left the United Kingdom due to safety concerns. However, Sancho, aged 26, isn’t believed to be tempted by the move and will instead look for an alternative.
One of the other proposals on the table for Sancho is said to be a return to a club he’s already enjoyed two different spells. It’s undeniable that Sancho’s best football as a professional came when he was at Borussia Dortmund, with the German club said to be exploring a possible return.

As per Bild in Germany, Dortmund could potentially be interested in bringing Sancho to the club, not least because their attacking ranks have taken a blow in the early parts of the campaign. Summer signing Giannis Konstantelias cruelly ruptured his ACL last month, meaning the Bundesliga side are light in the forward department.
It comes after Sancho was spotted training with non-League side Flixton, who were forced to clarify their position on signing the England international. They wrote on Instagram: "To clarify, Jadon was not on trial with the club and was not involved in any transfer discussions. He simply used our facilities for a private training session to maintain his fitness while preparing for the next chapter of his career."
Sancho has played 112 Premier League matches, scoring 12 goals and registering 13 assists in the process. By contrast, in the Bundesliga, Sancho has 118 appearances to his name, with 94 goal contributions during that time.
