Manchester United lead Sabah 3-0 at half-time thanks to a dominant first 45 minutes of action at Old Trafford.
Goals from Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko have the Red Devils on their way to securing a crucial three points in their return to Champions League action.
Sesko singled out for praise after second goal
Reacting to the first half of action on Twitter/X, Samuel Luckhurst said: “The evening [is] now going swimmingly for MUFC.
“Sesko has been a major asset since the turn of the year and will be spearheading that attack regularly sooner or later. Game effectively won and [Michael] Carrick can start planning second-half subs.”
Indeed, Sesko’s contribution tonight came after he opened his account for 2026/2027 at the weekend against Everton.

The Slovenian came off the bench and scored a well-taken header in the 88th minute to restore United’s lead on Merseyside, before Everton clinched a point via a stunning last-gasp strike from Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Carrick will have the Manchester derby at the back of his mind

This evening also marked Sesko’s first start of the term, so he’ll be hoping he can do enough to show Carrick why he deserves a spot in the XI for Sunday’s Manchester derby.
United welcome their arch-rivals to M16 in the 4.30pm kick-off, with Manchester City unbeaten under Enzo Maresca thus far.
The Blues have also had an extra 48 hours to recover from their Champions League clash with Porto, as well as prepare to face United, as they played on Tuesday evening in Portugal.
Alas, Carrick may decide to make a handful of changes before the full-time whistle blows tonight in order to ensure his key men are back to 100 per cent ahead of the weekend.
