Manchester United registered a thumping 4-0 victory over Sabah FK in the UEFA Champions League at Old Trafford.
Head coach Michael Carrick made four changes to the starting XI that drew with Everton last weekend.
Matheus Cunha broke the deadlock as United dominated possession and began to turn the screw.
Bruno Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko then struck in quick succession just before half-time, putting the hosts firmly in control.
A simple tap-in from Lisandro Martinez put the icing on the cake as United secured a winning start to their Champions League campaign.
Carrick will now hope his side can carry that momentum into the local derby on Sunday and produce another commanding display against Manchester City.
