Benjamin Sesko was among Manchester United’s four scorers against Sabah FK on Thursday night.
Manchester United could not have asked for a better start to their 2026/27 Champions League season.
There were no reminders of the disappointing European campaign United experienced in 2023/24, when Erik ten Hag’s team finished at the bottom of Group A. The Reds got the business done and were hardly troubled by their Azerbaijani opponents.
Every United player played well on the night, especially the goalscorers, including Benjamin Sesko. The Slovenian has now scored two goals in as many games.
