A dominant Manchester United made light work of Sabah FK in the Champions League, with several players delivering top performances.
Manchester United beat Sabah FK 4-0 in the Champions League on Thursday night.
The Reds led 3-0 at half-time, courtesy of goals from Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes, and Benjamin Sesko. With three points secured against the Azerbaijani champions, Lisandro Martinez scored the only goal in the second half.
After what was probably the easiest game Michael Carrick’s side will play in the Champions League this season, United fans have been casting their votes for the Man of the Match.

Kobbie Mainoo voted Man of the Match against Sabah FK
Supporters on the Talking Points app have been voting for the best performer in the 4-0 win over Sabah FK at Old Trafford.
Kobbie Mainoo came out on top with just over 48% of the votes.
The England international controlled the game in the middle of the pitch alongside Youri Tielemans, who picked up 11.18% of the vote after his assist for Bruno Fernandes.
United fans also expressed their positive views on Mainoo in the comments section, as seen below.
Other players like Tielemans, Benjamin Sesko, and Joshua Zirkzee were mentioned too.
Kobbie Mainoo has played just three games in the Champions League
Most of Mainoo’s experience in European competition has come in the Europa League.
The 21-year-old midfielder made eight appearances in Europe’s second-tier competition as United reached the final in 2024.
However, Mainoo made two appearances in the Champions League during the 2023/24 season.
That means he played in his third Champions League on Thursday night, marking it with a Man of the Match display, as voted by readers of United In Focus.
