15-year-old Manchester United starlet JJ Gabriel has continued to turn heads with his performances for the Red Devils’ under-21s this season.
The bigwigs across Europe are keeping tabs on his situation as he cannot sign a professional contract until he turns 17.
Gabriel recently deleted his Man United photos on Instagram, and several questions were asked as to why he had wiped his social media account clean.
However, Red Devils fans have nothing to worry about as the teenage sensation remains committed to the club.
Those close to him insist the decision is merely to remove any distractions from his game, according to the Daily Mail.
It appears to be paying off after Gabriel scored a hat-trick on his UEFA Youth League debut against Sabah FK under-19s on Thursday.
The Red Devils ran out 5-0 winners, and the teenager became the Youth League’s youngest hat-trick scorer at 15 years and 339 days old.
There are legitimate questions being asked as to whether he should make his first competitive matchday squad with the first-team for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
He could become United’s youngest-ever player, breaking the record held by goalkeeper David Gaskell.
Gaskell was 16 years and 19 days old when he debuted for the Red Devils in 1956, and Gabriel could snatch the record after 70 years.
While the youngster cannot play in the Champions League this season after Man United opted not to name him in their 25-man A list of players, he is eligible to make his Premier League debut.
All eyes are on him and the club believe they have a superstar on their hands.
