Gary Neville and Sir David Beckham are making waves across the football industry once again as the duo regain the services of a key man ahead of the rest of the season.
Neville is coming into the current campaign off the back of featuring for ITV in the World Cup this summer whilst Beckham has continued his ownership of Inter Miami.
The latter’s ownership, now stretching 12 years, saw him sign Casemiro this summer after his departure from Manchester United, a signing that will shore up the team’s midfield and make them an increased threat in Major League Soccer this season.
Inter Miami is not the 50-year-old’s only club ownership product, however, with him joining forces with Neville in their joint-ownership of League Two side Salford City.
Taking to his official Instagram, former Kit Manager Will Moore has now confirmed his return to City with him posting a reel, captioned “a crazy 72 hours”, on the social media platform.
Moore left Salford in late May and quickly joined Liverpool Women’s first-team as their Kit Manager although has now reversed that decision with the former replacing the latter in his Instagram bio.
For Salford City, the return of the Kit Manager is a huge boost. Often responsible for organising players’ kits, boots, and hydration, alongside other key team items like flags, the manager plays an essential part in match-days, and one that ultimately can prove essential in a side’s organisation.
Facing Rotherham United away from home today, Will Moore is rejoining Salford at a good time in their season. After losing their first three games of the season, the Ammies have picked up their form, winning both of their last two matches, against Newport County and Port Vale.
