Louis Page was in action again for Leicester in their 4-3 win against Stockport County and managed to grab Man Utd’s attention again.
It has been a whirlwind few weeks for Louis Page, who would have been walking out at Old Trafford for a Champions League night had things gone according to plan.
As it stands, he’s in a relegation battle with Leicester in the third division, and has become somewhat of a shining ray of light in a dull campaign.
He continued to dominate in Leicester’s latest game, as they finally broke their slump and emerged victors in a crazy game.

Louis Page dominates for Leicester
Page has been put in somewhat of a thankless situation due to what he’s gone through of late.
A failed move to United, coupled with his boyhood club in free fall are enough to turn the head of any teenager.
However, Page has shown that he’s made of tougher stuff, as he has stood out immensely even in a side that can’t seem to buy a win.
Leicester finally won against Stockport, and Page’s prints were all over the victory.
Operating as the sole defensive midfielder in a 4-1-4-1, Page gave two assists and created the most chances on the pitch (4) as he played the full 90 minutes.
He had nine passes into the final third, made five recoveries, and had three defensive contributions to sum up an all-action display in midfield.
Man Utd only delayed getting him instead of cancelling the pursuit. Performances like these will ensure that the attention remains solely on him between now and January.
There are doubts whether Leicester are the right environment for him, even for just six months, but if he continues playing like this, then it might be for the best.
He has started the season on fire and kept his head screwed on despite so much speculation, which bodes well for his mental strength. It’s a key trait required to thrive at United.
