Scotland hopeful Kieron Bowie admitted he'd love to reach double figures in Serie A after getting off the mark for Sassuolo.

The former Hibs striker is aiming to be included in new Scotland manager Sebastien Pocognoli's squad on Tuesday for the Nations League batch of games.

And he opened his account for his new side after netting in a 3-2 home win against Juventus, where three goals were scored from the 89th minute onwards.

It's Bowie's second goal in two games against Juve, after he also scored last season for Verona in a 1-1 draw, as they battled unsuccessfully to avoid the drop.

And the 23-year-old admitted his ambition is to hit the ten-goals mark for the season in Italian football's top flight.

He said: "I haven't set a specific goal target, but I’d love to reach double figures here. I’m happy to have secured the three points. I feel very tired after the game, because it was an emotionally charged match."
