How the Seagulls rated against Manchester United at Old Trafford
Brighton came back from 2-0 down to power though to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Man United opened the scoring on eight minutes as Shea Lacey skipped inside Albion debutant Jaouen Hadjam and fired beyond Jason Steele.
Just two minutes later it was 2-0. Costinha was caught in possession by Marcus Rashford, his shot was saved by Steele but Mason Mount was on hand to fire home the rebound.
Malick Yalcouye and Pascal gross both missed presentable chances as Brighton started to dominate.
They pulled one back just before the break as Hadjam's excellent long pass was expertly finished by Charalampos Kostoulas. The Greek's second goal in two matches.
Brighton were the better team after the break Pascal Gross showed sublime skill to level the scores and substitute Maxim De Cuyper netted the third after good work from Kostoulas. Excellent from Brighton.

Jason Steele - 8: Best moment was his big save to deny Rashford on 77 minutes when one on one. No chance with the opening goal and he was stranded for the second as Mount cracked home the rebound. Good distribution. And one excellent sliding tackle on Sesko.
Costinha - 6: Lost possession for the second goal and was punished as Rashford bombed forward and shot before Mount fired home
Pascal Struijk - 6: His first start since his £18m arrival from Leeds and delivered a solod display at the heart of the defence. Will be a very useful signing.
Luka Vuskovic - 8: Such a talent. Dealt pretty well Sesko and won plenty of personal duels. Plays like an experienced pro at 19. Superb recovery run and tackle on Rashford at the end of the first half.
Jaouen Hadjam - 7: Couldn't really blame him for Lacey's opener. Perhaps could have been a little closer but it was a moment of quality from the Man U youngster. Lovely long pass and assist for Kostoulas' goal. Booked for a foul on Lacey.
Olivier Boscagli - 7: Played a midfield role in the first half, probably not his best position. Whistled one effort just over the bar on 33 minutes.
Chema - 6: Booked on 43 minutes as he was a little late in the tackle. Did his best to help Costinha out with Rashford and was neat and tidy in possession. Solid full debut but the pace probably surprised him a little.
Pascal Gross - 9: He ran the show. Lovely skill and finish to level the scores. Nice pass to set-up Yalcouye's big chance in the first half. Blazed over with his left foot from a tight angle on 40 minutes, but we will forgive him that.
Malick Yalcouye - 8: Missed Albion's best chance of the first half as he placed his effort wide from the inside left position. Growing in confidence with each match. Greater composure in possession and happy to demand the ball in tight areas.
Matt O'Riley - 7: Very unlucky to get an assist on 25 minutes as his pressing forced an error from Heaven but his cross into the box was cleared by Yoro. Positive performance from O'Riley on a rare start.
Charalampos Kostoulas - 8: Another nice goal for the Greek as he slotted home a long pass from Hadjam. Work rate was not an issue and enjoyed his tussle with Yoro. A real threat lately and his running helped set up De Cuyper’s winner.
