He didn’t deliver a single cross or make a single tackle. Only one of his five attempted long balls reached their target, and he gave away the ball 12 times. He was dribbled past once.
The defence and attack struggled badly, and the Man United full-back was one of the biggest culprits in a shameful night for the club.
Dalot was also sub-par as Man United lost to Manchester City at Old Trafford last weekend.
He should be dropped as the Red Devils try to make amends when they travel to struggling Fulham.
Dalot now needs to be taken out of the firing line, with Carrick having little reason to persist with him after back-to-back underwhelming displays.
The 27-year-old is short of confidence, and another poor outing could only increase the pressure on both the player and manager.
Man United need a full-back they can rely on under pressure, particularly with such an important match-up coming up before the international break.
