Juventus secured a 5-0 victory on their first European night of the season, dominating NEC and returning to winning ways thanks to several impressive individual performances from their players.
The Bianconeri had gone two games without a win and were eager to make a strong start in Europe, making this a match they needed to win. Juventus recognised the threat NEC could pose and started the game strongly.

Nick Woltemade then extended Juventus’ lead from the penalty spot before half-time, completing what was arguably the best half the Bianconeri had played all season. With such a commanding advantage at the interval, there was little indication that the match would become difficult for the home side.
Juventus had controlled the contest and restricted NEC from building the type of attacking momentum they wanted. Their three-goal advantage also gave them a comfortable platform to manage the second half.
The Bianconeri took some time to find another goal after the break, but they remained in control as they looked to complete an emphatic European victory.

Kolo Muani completes perfect night

Randal Kolo Muani played a key role in Juventus’ fourth goal, setting up Zeki Celik to find the net and put the result beyond any doubt. The Frenchman then got on the scoresheet himself, scoring Juventus’ fifth goal of the match.
The final whistle confirmed a comprehensive 5-0 victory for Juventus, giving the Bianconeri the result they had been seeking after two games without a win.
The performance also provided several players with an opportunity to make a significant contribution, while the emphatic scoreline ensured Juventus could end their first European night of the season with plenty of confidence.
