Under-pressure Manchester United boss Michael Carrick will hope to see his side return to winning ways when they face Fulham on Sunday.
The Red Devils suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against rivals Manchester City in the derby last weekend, despite the Citizens being reduced to ten men in the first-half when Phil Foden was sent off.
United raced into a two-goal lead early on against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, but the Seagulls produced a stunning comeback to knock Carrick’s side out of the competition.
The Englishman has therefore found himself under pressure at Old Trafford, and he will be desperate to secure a result at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
In the meantime, though, it has emerged that United are one of three huge Premier League clubs interested in a La Liga star.

As per journalist Ekrem Konur, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all interested in Barcelona star Raphinha amid uncertainty surrounding his future.
The ex-Leeds United man has started the season in scintillating form for Barcelona, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in seven games in all competitions.
It is claimed that the Brazil international has demanded that his current club double his current wages, in an effort to make himself one of Barcelona’s highest earners.
The three Premier League sides mentioned are all said to be aware of the player’s situation, while Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal are also monitoring developments.
Since joining Barcelona from Leeds in 2022, Raphinha has played 184 times for the Spanish side, scoring 86 goals and providing 62 assists.
His current contract in Catalunya is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, and the La Liga champions will be unsurprisingly keen to tie him down to a new, long-term deal.
