Michael Carrick has provided a fitness update on Luke Shaw and Carlos Baleba ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League trip to Fulham on Sunday.
Manchester United travel to Craven Cottage for a 16:30 BST kick-off, with the game their final fixture before the long international break.
Both Luke Shaw and Carlos Baleba remain doubts, although Michael Carrick revealed there is still a chance they could be involved.
“There is a chance on both really,” said Carrick in his pre-match press conference. “Not totally 100 per cent yet.”

Luke Shaw has missed United’s recent two matches, but Carrick suggested the issue is only a short-term one and that the defender is still being assessed before the Fulham trip.
“It is really short-term [with Luke], to be honest, but we’re just working towards the game. So we’ll see how he is.”
Baleba is also pushing for his first appearance since completing his move from Brighton & Hove Albion. The midfielder arrived at Old Trafford carrying an injury and has yet to make his United debut.
His potential availability would give Carrick another option in midfield, but the manager will have to make a late decision on whether Baleba is ready.
Carrick made several changes for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup meeting with Brighton, which ended in a 3-2 defeat. The United boss is expected to restore his regular starters for the trip to London, including captain Bruno Fernandes.
There are still confirmed absentees, with Matthijs de Ligt, Amad and Manuel Ugarte remaining on the sidelines.
United will be looking for a response at Fulham after their disappointing cup exit and Manchester derby defeat, with Carrick hoping his side can head into the international break with a positive result.
