Manchester United have got off to a terrible start to the season. The latest letdown was a 1-1 draw at Fulham.
In the end we should probably be thankful Manchester United managed to draw. Matheus Cunha’s late strike saved the embarrassment of a defeat to winless Fulham.
A draw was not much better. Manchester United now have only five points from five games, and sit slumped in the bottom half of the table.

United need to reset
Manchester United now head into an international break before facing bottom club Tottenham Hotspur. Anything less than a victory will be deemed a humiliation.
One fan commented to explain how United need the international break to assess everything that is going wrong.
Another fan commented to suggest that Ineos will use this break to assess Michael Carrick’s future.
And a third suggested that the players should be put in a ‘boot camp’ over the international break to reassess their poor start to the campaign.
United tactics under fire
In particular, Michael Carrick’s coaching and tactics are under scrutiny. One fan dismissed the idea of sacking Carrick, commenting ‘I don’t think that’s the answer’.
Instead he argued that the coaching methods should change and underperforming players should be dropped, rather than keeping their place.
Another supporter commented to described United’s buildup play as ‘the worst’ in English football, due to the lack of intensity and direction.
A further comment scrutinised United’s lack of effort against Fulham, who cumulatively ran further than the Red Devils across the match.
Another supporter urged United fans to take the patient approach. While acknowledging the below par start to the campaign, they said ‘calling out the team and training staff doesn’t help anyone’.
They would rather reassess in late December and take a view then.
United’s next two Premier League games are against Tottenham at home and then Leeds away.
