Liverpool and Manchester United have Juventus’ Francisco Conceição on their agenda, after looking at him during the summer window.
The winger initially joined the Serie A side on loan from FC Porto in 2024 and made his stay permanent a year later.
He has 12 goals and 12 assists from 88 matches for Juventus. Although the statistics are not that impressive, Conceição has caught the attention of a few clubs. This includes both Liverpool and Manchester United.

This season, he managed a goal and an assist from 393 minutes from six matches. The 23-year-old’s situation with the Turin club has seen the Premier League duo take notice.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who states he is ‘no longer untouchable’ for the Old Lady because of multiple factors.
Luciano Spalletti has the wide positions well covered with Edon Zhegrova, Kerim Alajbegovic and Nico González. There will be more competition when Kenan Yıldız and Jérémie Boga return from injuries.
Francisco Conceição is enjoying minutes while his form has been mentioned. After seven goals and five assists in his debut season, he managed four goals and five assists last season. Juventus are expecting him to step up.
The outlet states: ‘The Portuguese often dribbles, then stops, and dribbles again. This excessive playing time allows opposing defence to better mark his teammates, whereas a cross immediately after the first dribble could find the opposition more exposed.’
Other clubs are keeping a close watch on his situation. This includes both Liverpool and Manchester United, who are keen on securing his services.
Affordable figures for PL duo
The Portugal international has a contract until 2030 and his value, as per Transfermarkt, is €30m.
Juventus, who invested around €30.5m to buy him, have to sell in 2027 for at least €16.8m to make capital gain.
The Italian club value Francisco Conceição at €40m, and he earns €3.8m net per year. The fee and his salary are certainly affordable for Liverpool and Manchester United.
In July, Sport Witness covered a report from Italy explaining that the English clubs made approaches for him. The duo continue to monitor him, and further advances, either in January or next summer, will depend on how he performs in the coming months.
Unless Liverpool or Manchester United look at Conceição as a player with huge potential, it wouldn’t make sense for them to bet on a player who is on a decline.
Juventus can sell the player in the upcoming windows to avoid a loss on their €30.5m investment. They may be using the Premier League duo’s interest to create the early hype.
