It was the quote of the weekend as Gary Neville let rip in a way he never has at Manchester United.
Facing defeat at lowly Fulham the Sky Sports pundit said: "I've watched Man United since the age of five and that's the worst 15 minutes I've ever seen. Absolutely pathetic. I've never seen such a lack of effort. What must [Michael] Carrick be thinking?"
United would snatch a draw thanks to Matheus Cunha's deflected strike, which came after a comical own goal from Lisandro Martinez. Neville was fuming about the work rate, pointing out in the studio after full-time just how many players from his former side were simply walking out of possession.
It was another low in a season that is beginning to have murmurs of 2021-22, when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got the boot and Neville didn't hold back.

That said, he'll have played in some shockers himself. The 5-0 hammering at Newcastle in the mid-1990s, shortly followed by a 6-3 loss at The Dell. He was at United in 2001 when they lost five times in seven games, which included a 3-0 trouncing by Chelsea at Old Trafford.
But if his comments are based on games he's watched, not played in, with the gantry ultimately giving him a better view and perspective of the game, then which fixtures could actually surpass the Fulham quarter of an hour that left him seething.

A hammering on their own patch by Roberto Mancini's men, who would win the title that year thanks to Sergio Aguero's iconic moment.
City were cruising at 81 minutes, leading 3-1 and with a man advantage, but shipping three times in the latter stages made a damaging defeat a horrific one. Edin Dzeko scoring City's sixth in front of a half-empty Old Trafford.

Brighton 4-0 Man Utd, 2022
This was during a period when the club and Ralf Rangnick, the interim boss, must've just wanted the season to end early. The Seagulls have enjoyed a great recent record against United and this was among the highlights. Moises Caicedo had given Brighton a narrow lead at the break.
But inside the first 15 minutes of the second-half Marc Cucurella, Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard all got in on the act on what was a truly forgettable afternoon on the south coast for those in red.

The fact this wasn't at Old Trafford perhaps made it sting that bit less than the 2021 mauling, but it was still exceptionally bad, and came in a season where United continued to lose badly on the road against the top teams.
Liverpool were by no means enjoying a vintage year, missing out on the Champions League, but still scored six times in the second-half to batter their arch nemesis. Three of those came in the final quarter, when they game became almost comical as the Reds scored at will.
