Manchester United's former number nine is reportedly in contract with multiple Russian clubs before deciding his new career move during this international break

Anthony Martial is reportedly in contact with two Russian Premier League clubs as well as multiple Spanish sides before deciding on who to sign for as a free agent.
Martial, 30, mutually terminated his contract with Liga MX club Monterrey in early June and remains without a new team approaching four months later. The former Manchester United player left Mexico halfway through a two-year deal that included an additional 12-month option.
He joined Rayados last summer after spending a year at AEK Athens. The reigning Super League Greece champions are the club that signed Martial after his United contract expired.
L'Equipe now reports that Malaga and an unnamed Spanish club are in contact with him. CSKA Moscow and Krasnodar are also said to be among several clubs interested in the former France international.
Martial apparently turned down a contract from Auxerre earlier in the summer. They are said to be the only French club who have made him an offer despite his services allegedly being offered to several others by multiple agents.
Lens and Nice have previously been credited with an interest. Everton were even at one stage, after the summer transfer window closed without another striker arriving on Merseyside.
Foot Mercato also claims Martial refused an offer from Al-Ittihad Tripoli with a net salary of £8.6million over two years, as well as a £4.3million signing bonus. The Libyan Premier League club signed former Southampton winger Sofiane Boufal earlier this month.
Lorient sporting director Laurent Koscielny has confirmed they were offered Martial. The former Arsenal defender told Ouest-France: "I think we received 400 to 450 player offers during the transfer window.
"There were, for example, a lot of former internationals in the lot, including Anthony Martial." The pair played together 13 times for the France national team over the years.

Martial has made just 53 appearances across the two seasons since leaving Old Trafford. The forward scored nine times for AEK but managed just one goal for Monterrey before returning to Europe.
He will turn 31 in early December and was reportedly waiting until this international break before deciding on his future. Martial previously played in Spain on loan at Sevilla from United, and Malaga is just under 100 miles southeast of Andalucia's capital.
Moving to Russia, meanwhile, would be a step into the unknown. Clubs in the country are also banned from UEFA competitions after the invasion of Ukraine.
