"In the beginning of the second half, they put in more energy than us and we cannot accept this," said Matheus Cunha after Manchester United's draw against Fulham.
United looked lethargic at Craven Cottage, but when Cunha's comment was raised as a concern during Michael Carrick's press conference, he pointed to the team's strong finish as evidence that energy was not a problem.
Carrick had a point. United's best phase of the game against Fulham was the final 10 minutes, but the home side dropped back at that stage, inviting pressure as they attempted to claim their first win of the season.
