Manchester United face a nervous wait to see whether Benjamin Sesko will be available for selection after the international break, as the forward was ruled out of Slovenia's upcoming fixtures.
Michael Carrick's side have claimed just five points out of a possible 15 in the Premier League so far. Sesko missed out on the trip to Fulham, meaning Matheus Cunha had to fill in as the makeshift centre-forward.
The Brazilian was more effective from the left flank last season, with Sesko firing in 11 league goals as the focal point. However, a recurring shin injury has plagued the Slovenian's routine.

The problem initially ruled him out of the final three games of the previous season and kept him out of pre-season. Sesko has now released a statement in which he apologised to fans.
Taking to Instagram, the striker announced he wouldn't be able to play for his country in the coming weeks. He posted: "I am very sorry that I will have to miss the national team's upcoming matches. I have always played for Slovenia - and always will - with heart and pride.
United confirmed fitness tests will now be carried out: "Benjamin will undergo tests this week before defining his individual recovery plan."
Unattached Strikers Man Utd Could Target
Anthony Martial

While Cunha, Marcus Rashford and Bryan Mbeumo can all be utilised as a centre-forward, all three men are more effective in different roles. Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee is out of favour under Carrick after failing to secure a summer transfer away from Old Trafford.
But there are other solutions out there. Despite the transfer window being closed, there are some big-name players who are currently without a club.
Karim Benzema, after leaving Al-Hilal in the summer, is the most talented free agent forward United could target to ease their striker woes, as a Ballon d'Or winner.

Former Man Utd forward Anthony Martial is also unattached. At 30 years old, the Frenchman's career hasn't gone the way he would've planned since the promise he showed at times during his eight years at Old Trafford.
Other stop-gap options include Argentina forward Mauro Icardi, who has scored over 280 career goals, and Joselu. The Spaniard was most recently at Qatari club Al-Gharafa after playing a role in firing Real Madrid to the 2024 Champions League.
