**Man Utd striker Benjamin Sesko has suffered a recurrence of the shin injury that sidelined him for most of the summer.**
Speaking before the 1-1 draw against Fulham, manager [**Michael Carrick**](https://manunews.com/blog/man-utd-news-michael-carrick-5-problems-to-fix/) said:
“He just felt a little bit of pain after the game the other night \[against Brighton in the Carabao Cup\]. We’re assessing that. Hopefully, it’s not too bad, but we will have to see.”
Sesko has withdrawn from international duty, and he will undergo further tests to determine the extent of the injury.

Rashford appeared to be holding his groin after limping to the sidelines, and he has subsequently withdrawn from the England squad.

Amad picked up an ankle injury right before the opening match of the season against Hull City last month.

Carrick has been pretty vague on when the Netherlands international will make his long-awaited comeback from a back injury.
De Ligt has been out for nearly 10 months, having last played against Crystal Palace at the end of November last year. Asked about the centre-back’s fitness last week, Carrick said:
“Matta is just working his way back, really. So I don’t want to, because of how it’s been, put too much of a timeframe on it.”
De Light has been training with the first team for several weeks, but he has not made a matchday squad so far this campaign.

The Uruguayan underwent surgery after sustaining a serious knee injury against Spain at the World Cup in late June.
