Manchester United youngster Dan Gore has continued to impress on loan for Luton Town with a big performance in the EFL Trophy.
Dan Gore was excellent during pre-season for Manchester United in his limited opportunities, showcasing his excellent technical ability, maturity on the pitch and all signs are that he is finally realising his potential.
For game-time, Gore is on loan at Luton this season under the tutelage of Jack Wilshere and he has been a complete success so far.
Gore has excelled for Luton and his performances show that his final destination isn’t League One football. Now he has shone bright in the EFL Trophy against Ipswich Town’s U21 side.

Dan Gore gets assist in big Luton win vs Ipswich U21
Despite his development being hindered by injury in the past few years, Gore has been excellent for Luton Town with displays that should see plenty of interest arrive from the Championship or higher next summer.
This strong campaign continued against Ipswich U21s as Gore got himself an assist in a 6-0 thrashing.
Gore played 80 minutes and had 74 touches of the ball as he played as the sole deep-lying midfielder for Luton. He completed 56 of 62 passes (90%), including one big chance created.
Defensively, Gore was also excellent and was completely untroubled against a step down in opposition that U21 football is for him.
He won three of the three tackles he attempted, made two interceptions, four recoveries and won four of his six attempted duels.
Dan Gore proves he needs to be playing senior football
Gore was Rotherham’s player of the year last season on loan, and he has started for Luton in that exact form, proving he absolutely needs to be a senior footballer now.
It would be shocking if Gore wasn’t playing Championship football next season at the very least, while he could also be an excellent candidate to head on loan to OCG Nice in France, owned by Ineos, to try and aid their recovery.
Gore will be back at Carrington next summer, however, and here his goal will be to earn a place in the first-team plans of whoever is United head coach, before a loan being his secondary option.
